About the Artist: Eileen Ross
Bob grew up in Tacoma, WA, received his BA from the University of Redlands and
his MDiv from American Baptist Seminary of the West in Berkeley. He was ordained
as an American Baptist Minister in 1967, and became a Unitarian Universalist in
1982.
The book is illustrated
with the work of Eileen Ross, an award winning studio artist and creativity
coach, and also Bob’s wife. She received her BA from New York University, MEd
from the University of Virginia. Diagnosed with MS in 1983, Eileen turned to art
for renewal and spiritual expression. The five paintings represented here are
among many of Eileen’s works that have given inspiration to Bob’s
work.
Bob and Eileen live in
Black Mountain, NC. They are parents/stepparents of six adult children, and
have five grandchildren.
